Extract comments from an action plan
Definition
A comment is an exchange of information in the form of a short message sent between users of the platform to discuss an action orissue in context.
These exchanges are often sources of essential data for understanding how a project or action is carried out and it is sometimes necessary to extract them from Perfony for external archiving purposes.

This comment extraction feature is available for Pilot and Executive rights and licences.
Notes on extracting comments
There are two types of extraction: on an.xls file or a.pdf file. the structure of the comments ( which can be long) may make it difficult to display data in .xls format.
Extract comments in.pdf format from a folder
From the ” folder menu, click on”download” and then”download the folder as a PDF”:
If you also want to extract comments from actions in this folder, click on the configuration icon at the bottom left of this popin .
Another window will open , allowing you to select the information you want from the actions. Tick “Show comments “. Click on “Validate”, you will return to the previous window and you can click on the”PDF” button to obtain your file.
Extract.pdf comments from an action
From the menu of an action , click on “Export pdf”. A pop-up window will open showing the information available for export. Click on”Comments” then”Validate” and you will obtain your.pdf file with the selected information.
A pop-up window appears, allowing you to select the information. Then click on the”Validate” button to obtain your.pdf file with the requested information.
Extract.xls comments from a folder
It is also possible to extract comments and action information in.xls format.
From the menu of a folder , click on”download” and”download actions in.xls” :
A pop-up window gives you various options for exporting the actions in your file in.xls format. Select”Comments” to add a column with the flow of comments comments attached to the actions and click on the.XLSX button to obtain the.

It is also possible to extract the comments from the “Actions” menu. Click on the download icon , select”download actions in XLS”.
A pop-up window appears, asking you to select the additional information you wish to export. Click the”Comments” box and then”Submit” to obtain the file with the requested information.
